Since the purchase of a Braun thermoscan some years back I kept thinking I should get a newer model but never got around to it. When I looked for replacement filters on Amazon I saw the opportunity to order a brand new thermoscan and I took it. It’s great and it arrived on time and in perfect condition.

Thanks.

Hi: I have a Braun Exacttemp Thermoscan 6022. Have had it for over two years. I can take my temperture one minute and then a minute later and I get two different temps, same happens from ear to ear. Can vary as much as 2 degrees. Maybe I need an newer version.

easy to use, but not so quick as expected, hard to use on small kids, and the temperature looks lower than normal.

Ever hear about the free razor, because the razor blades are so expensive? That’s this product. I loved it until I ran out of the ‘hygienic’ lens covers. The thermometer won’t operate without them (it checks to see if it has one), and they cost 20 cents each, or about $8 for 40.

When you consider the manufacturing cost of the lens covers has got to be around 1/100 of a cent (it is just a small piece of injection-molded plastic, this is one of the biggest markups ever.

So if you want a thermometer that costs 20 cents each time you use it, this could be for you.
