I try to buy nontoxic items for my kids. These are billed as such but they really reek of something I can’t identify (I’m talking about the clean unused ones). I then tried seventh generation but they leaked all the time. I’m using nature babycare ([...]) now and love them! Would not recommend Earths Best.

These diapers are quite stiff, not soft. The tabs are not stretchy, run small, they leak!!!
I give them one star just because they are eco friendly.
I think 7th Generation does make a better diaper.

I have tried 7 generation diapers/training pants, nature babycare diapers/training pants, and Earth’s best diapers I have to say among these 3 brands I prefer nature babycare diapers. Nature babycare diapers are way softer than 7 generation diapers. 7 generation diapers tend to run very small however Earth’s best diapers tend to run bigger. My son is 25 month old, 32 lbs and doesn’t fit in 7 generation diapers/training pants any more. Nature babycare diapers fit him better. I ordered size 6 on Earth’s best diapers they tend run big on him. I am going to stick with nature babycare diapers.

I tried these diapers because my daughter developed recurrent rash from Huggies. She was OK with Pampers but I wanted something less chemical. These diapers gave my 4 month old terrible hives the moment I’d put them on – her thighs, calves, even cheeks by her jaw. At first I didn’t know it was the diapers since they claim to be so natural and hypoallergenic, but by trial and error we found them to be the culprit. I read that they use wheat-based absorbency material which is similar to Huggies (corn- and wheat-based). Some babies apparently don’t mind; for those with sensitive skin I’d recommend requesting a sample before buying a whole pack.
Besides the hives I found the diapers to be very paper-like. They are hard when dry and even harder when wet. The outside layer isn’t soft and the absorbency material turns into cardboard.
In my experience, the softest diapers are Huggies Pure and Natural, however, since my baby gets rash from those as well we’re thinking about sticking with Pampers but still looking for alternatives.
I really don’t understand what the hype is about with these diapers. They seem harsh on my hand and even more uncomfortable for the baby.

These diapers are very stiff and just did not fit my daughter well at all. We could hardly wait to get through the pack so we could go back to 7th Generation Diapers.
