The “2yr Extended Warranty” is, in reality, only a “One-year Extended Warranty”, correct? Why not label it as such?
I am surprised that Amazon would engage in such a misleading description of its product.

I purchased tis for my wife for Christmas! This is a great gift to give anyone! I bought for the reaso it has multiple font sizes, if a book has text to speech it will be like listening to an audio book. This is great for individuals like my wife who is visually impaired.
I was able to enlarge the text large enough for her to get back to the physical act of reading, which she missed so much.
The only small flaw in this, is the keyboard letters would be easier to read if they were in bolder print.
Other than that it’s great!

I purchased this for my wife’s kindle. I was told after i purchased it that it was no good for the kindle that i bought. Basically thanks for your money. We have had to call several times just to get the issuse resolved. I also found out that this warrenty only cover manufacturer probs only. So if you drop your kindle, you out the money. Basically, the warrenty does not cover any of the normal or daily issues that a person would use it for.

Have I mentioned I kill computers? Don’t know how, why or when I offended the computer gods, but I can tell you for a fact, they don’t like me. I, for one, will get my money’s worth out of this deal, so for me, this is a no-brainer. You, on the other hand, have to ask yourself, have you had bad experiences with computer driven devices? Here’s the simple math; if more than about 1 of 4 computer driven devices you’ve owned, have physically failed (not including needing a SW update, because, I believe, Kindle can do that) within the first two years of your owning it, then go for it. If not, skip it.
Just to state my creds on this, I stopped counting confirmed HW failures back in 94, after 50 confirmed failures. I’ve killed microwaves, automobiles (my own, rentals, leased, and I don’t borrow cars from friends), desktops, laptops, mainframes, cameras, phones, GPSs, PDAs, Macs and PCs alike. I’m careful, but indiscriminate. People laugh when I say so, but after they’ve known me for a while, they don’t let me go near anything they own with a computer in it. Right now, my car is in the shop, getting a new computer for the transmission! Go figure.

Hello,
i purchased a Warranty and Kindle for my son for Christmas. Evidentally during the purchasing process I missed the spot for his name, as everything is registered in my name. I have tried to change this but no one is very helpful. It does not make sense for the information to be in my name, please could you contact me to help or provide information as to who can help me.
Thank you kindly,
