There are very few games that i would write about but this game got me hooked after the first level. My first reaction when i started the tutorial was here comes another dumb game but i was wrong. Great game and the mac user that gave it a 1 star needs to get a life.

This is one of my all time favorites. The graphics are incredible and it is very easy to learn. Most of all I really like the depth of the strategy. To get through the later levels you really have to think.
The sequels are even better.
Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year [Game Download]
Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe [Game Download]
I also have it on the DS.
Build a Lot
It is also available for the Mac, although I guess Amazon doesn’t sell that version yet.

I tried to enjoy this game. There I was, flipping houses, building banks, commanding a workforce of millions and then it happened.
Recession. Not even a securitized portfolio of AAA slices of subprime mortgages could save me. It was fun while it lasted but now I’m living on government handouts.

I just LOVE these Build A Lot games! They’re straight forward, not complicated at all. Build A Lot 3 is the best so far! I finished all 3, including the Super Efficiency levels and had a blast doing it! When playing for Super Efficiency, some levels you really have to move to get them done in time. Some levels take many restarts and you do need a lot of paitence, but I had a blast trying to figure out which method to use to beat the levels. Hope they come out with Build A Lot 4 soon, I’m jonesing! lol I’d recommend these games to anyone, they’re simple and fun. Not really complicated like Sim City can be.

What a shame Mac users have to sit and watch others play because a better computer with a better OS cant be included for these games.
