This is the third game in the Chocolatier series. This one is longer and more involved than the previous two. It’s necessary to create your own chocolates. A series of coffees has also been added. Each game in the series is a delight to play.
I hope they come out with Chocolatier 4 soon!
Highly recommended!

I am totally hooked on all the Chocolatier games. This is the 3rd in the series & THE most addictive. Since you are able to make up your own imaginary chocolate creations without any limits on the recipes, it doesn’t have to be the same over & over. (Just have real chocolate on hand for when you turn off the game …) I have to admit that I am still playing it over & over & over & over again ! I also have a nephew (14) who is just as addicted to the game as I am. It is pure fun with little educational value, and can take a LONG time to work your way to the very end of the game, so I haven’t used it in my school. Not sure how young you could be & still get hooked, but definitely 12 to adult will LOVE it ! Beautifully designed, totally stress-free, FUN !!

I’m a huge fan of time-/resource-management or tycoon games and this has to be by far my favorite.
The artwork for the game is wonderful, the locations varied, the tasks number enough to keep you busy for days. If you enjoy the idea of designing your own chocolates and coffees by choosing their designs, flavors and names, you’ll enjoy the side-quests related to that. The mini-games that determine what the production rate for your factories are easy enough to understand and tricky enough to be challenging (and thankfully no mini-game was ’so challenging’ as to make me completely avoid a factory!)
I “got in trouble” with my brother’s wife by introducing him to the game. She said she didn’t see him for three or four days and it probably would have been longer if we hadn’t gone on a family trip after. *laughs*
The only downside is that after you have finished the storyline, the only thing that challenges you to keep you playing are the “special orders” that come in occasionally and perhaps your own monetary or other self-set goals. I found it more fun to end the game and start over from the beginning. But most players will want to set the game aside and come back to it a week or two later. The replay value should ultimately be worth the purchase price, though!
